34 Lander Street

This three-family brick Newburgh row house is located just off Broadway on Lander Street, in the walkable core of the East End Historic District. The building is in need of a full renovation, inspiration for which can be had up and down the block, where significant numbers of similar buildings are mid-restoration, or already serving as homes for Newburghers. Original details survive, including the original newel and stair spindles, wide-plank wood floors, plaster detailing, arched windows, and the cornice frieze and corbels. The frontage faces east, with a large access drive to the south making the building light filled. The attached large block buildings at rear of the lot are not counted in the square footage.
